The Squirrel Helper

The Squirrel Helper is a small housekeeping app that makes it easy to remove Squirrel apps — and their saved data — cleanly, whenever you want.

It is included with every pack and with the Full Kit: a signed, notarized utility that rides along inside each download. You don't need to buy it separately, and you don't need it to use any app — it's there for when you want to tidy up.

What it does

• Lists every Squirrel app currently installed on your Mac.
• Lets you remove any app plus its saved data with one click — reversibly, by moving things to your Trash (nothing is hard-deleted).
• Leaves the rest of your Mac untouched: it only ever looks at Squirrel apps in your Applications folder and their data in ~/Library/Application Support/Squirrel/.

It makes no network requests and collects nothing — the same privacy promise as every Squirrel app.

How to use it

1. Open the Squirrel Helper from your Applications folder (it installs alongside the apps in any pack or the Full Kit).
2. Pick the app you want to remove.
3. Confirm. The app and its data move to your Trash, where you can restore them if you change your mind.

Prefer to remove things by hand?

You don't need the Helper at all:

• App only: drag the app from Applications to the Trash.
• App + its saved data: in Finder → Go → Go to Folder…, type ~/Library/Application Support/Squirrel/, and delete the folder for the app you want to remove (for example, FocusJail/).
